A browser extension to replace YouTube's algorithm with intent-based discovery: pick a topic, get curated content. Three implementation paths evaluated, all rejected on different grounds.
Why I dropped it · Every viable technical approach had a fatal flaw: API proxy required a backend startup, search hacking produced unreliable results, and manual curation made me the permanent bottleneck. Killed it before writing a line of code.
